Betty Jean Hickman

Betty Jean Warrick Hickman,74,of Oak Hill died Friday, November 9, 2007 at Bowers Hospice House, Beckley, WV following a long illness. Born July 23, 1933, at Oak Hill, she was the daughter of the late Floyd, Sr. and Edna May Warrick. Betty was a homemaker and and member of the Oak Hill First Brethren Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Hickman, one daughter, Carolyn Woodrum; one son, Randy Hickman and three brothers, Floyd "Mop" Warrick, Jr., Bill Warrick and Jim Warrick. Survivors include one daughter, Elaine Ritchie of Oak Hill; one daughter-in-law, Nancy Hickman of Oak Hill; one brother, Andrew "Trap" Warrick and wife, Peggy of Oak Hill; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Mrs. Hickman donated her body to the WV Gift Registry at Morgantown. Memorial services will be held later.
