Betty Helen Frances Dick Stewart, 73, of Chesterfield, VA, formerly of Oak Hill, WV died at the home of her son, Richard, in Chesterfield, VA on Saturday, August 24, 2013. Born May 18, 1940 at Redstar, WV, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Annie Mildred Ward Dick. Her husband, Richard Eugene Stewart preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and had worked as a restaurant cook. Survivors include two sons, Richard Eugene Stewart of Chesterville, VA and Robin Gale Stewart of Broadway, VA ; two daughters, Helen Horten of Anchorage, AK and Catherine Lin Stewart of Charlotte, NC, two brothers, Jesse and Charles Dick, both of Oak Hill; two sisters, Faye Hall of NJ and Carol Stone of Oak Hill and five grandchildren, Tristen R. Horten, Justen M. Horten, Richard E Stewart, Jr., Kristen G. Sharp and Cole M. Stewart. Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Pastor Richard Early officiating. Burial will follow at Huse Memorial Park, Fayetteville, WV.
