With her family by her side, Betty Jean Fee Daniel , 81, of Maple Fork, WV went peacefully to be with Jesus on Monday, May 18, 2015 at her home.
Born April 06, 1934 at Harlan, KY she was the daughter of the late Ross and Madeline Gross Fee.
In her working days Betty was employed at Hills Department Store, Krogers, was a cook at Cirtsville School, worked as a certified nursing assistant at Hilltop Nursing Home and was a disabled CNA from Pine Lodge Nursing Home.
Betty enjoyed life, loved her family and delighted in cooking for them and any one else who showed up at her home. She showed hospitality to anyone and everyone; she was fond of flowers and liked sharing them.
Her maternal grandparents, John and Cassie Dixon Gross; paternal grandparents, Silas and Mary Thompson Fee and an infant brother, Donald preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas Hopkins of Loyal, KY and Billy Daniel and wife, Chasity of Oak Hill; three daughters, Faith Vanordan of Old Town, FL, Angel Hale of Beckley and Hope Skeens and husband, Scott of Maple Fork; a brother, Dr. Jerry Fee and wife, Carolyn of Montezuma, NC and two sisters, Beulah Joyce Fee Wilson of Old Town, FL and Johonnie Lynn Fee Catlett and husband, Richard Adair of Maple Fork.
She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; a special niece, Judy Catlett who was her caregiver for 7 years; and several other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Mount Hope with Rev. Dianna Pittman and Rev. Johnny Catlett officiating and with special music by Pastor Brad Williams. Burial will be at John W. Davis Cemetery, Maple Fork. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
Josh Jones, Justin Jones, Kevin Voiers, Nick Skeens, Scott Skeens, Daniel Skeens, Tommy Hopkins and Billy Daniel will serve as pallbearers.
