Betty Ann Colaiseno, 78, of Mount Hope, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, August 4, 2012 at the Bowers Hospice House, Beckley, WV following a short illness. Mrs. Colaiseno was born in Sun, WV on August 21, 1933 and lived most of her life in Mount Hope. She was the fifth child of three sisters and two brothers. Mrs. Colaiseno was a homemaker and a was a member of the Assembly of God in Mount Hope for many years. An excellent mother, a wonderful grandmother, and will be sadly missed by many family and friends. In addition to her parents, brother, and sisters, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Junior Colaiseno; great grandson, Joseph Hosler, Jr. and son-in-law, Gary Craigo. She is survived by a brother, Donald Smith of Huntington, WV; nine daughters and one son, Almeda Smith of Mount Hope, Mary Shaffer of Mount Hope, James Colaiseno and wife, Elaine of Oak Hill, Patricia Craigo of Mount Hope, Carol and husband, Mickey Barclay of Crab Orchard, Angeline and husband Ernie Walker of Raleigh, NC, Nellie and husband, John Roberts of Beckley, Donna and husband, Patrick Bailey of Beckley, Lana and husband, Tony Rust of Bristol, TN, Brenda and husband, Keith Runyon of Crab Orchard. She has 21 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope with Pastor Tom Lilly officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park, Beckley, WV. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
