Betty Ann Bolt

Betty Anne Taylor Lykins Bolt, 69, of Oak Hill, WV went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, January 21, 2008 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV. Born February 12, 1938 at Cunard, WV she was the daughter of the late Henry Harrison Taylor and Virgie Mae Kelly Taylor Smith. She attended the Apostolic Holiness Church in Oak Hill. Betty liked gospel music and to bake. Her husband, James Franklin Bolt preceded her in death on May 12, 1994. She was also preceded in death by a son, Luther Lykins, a daughter, Carline Jean Lykins, grandson, Patrick Fannin, two sisters, Lorraine Dick and Margaret Vance and four brothers, Jerry Taylor, Kenneth Taylor, Harold Taylor and William Taylor. Survivors include four daughters, Sue Anne Kees Hudson and husband, Henry of Minden, Brenda Jarrell of Oak Hill, Karen Fannin of Oak Hill and Lisa Scanlan and husband, John of Chicago, IL; one son, Larry Wayne Taylor; one sister, Jane Flint and husband, Butch of Sophia and one brother, Bubbie Smith and wife, Lucy of Oak Hill. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Services will be on Friday, January 25, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Carlos Lewis and Rev. Charles Pittman officiating. Burial will be at Hilltop Cemetery, Hilltop WV. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home on Thursday, January 24, 2008 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. COME TO ME God saw you were getting tired, and a cure was not to be, so He put his arms around you and whispered,"Come to me," With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away, and though we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
