Bettie Lois Paschal Aliff , 90, of Sophia, WV died on Sunday, June 21, 2015 at Raleigh Center in Daniels, WV.
Born November 16, 1924 at Long Branch, WV she was the daughter of the late John Frank and Fondie LuLu Windsor Paschal.
Bettie was a former sales clerk at Ben Franklin in Sophia.
She was a member of the Sophia First Baptist Church where she sang in the church choir, member of the Women's Sunday School Class, the Ladies Mission Circle and the Thursday Morning Bible Study Group.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lacy Eugene Aliff; two daughters, Jacqueline Lilly and Janee' Pitsenbarger; a son Bud Aliff; a grandson, Paul Bradford Lilly; a brother, Larry Pascal; and by a sister Estell.
Survivors include her daughter, Toni Byrge and husband Jim of Shady Spring; her son, Mike Aliff and wife Pat of Jacksonville, FL; a daughter-in-law, Jackie Aliff of Fruitland, FL.; and a sister, Rhema Cales of Fl.
Also surviving are 13 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and special friends, Margie Richards, Jean Mills, Brenda Adams and Marie Gibson.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at 12:00 P.M. at the Sophia First Baptist Church with Pastor Charles Gilbert officiating. Burial will be at Pax Community Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church.
Men of the Sophia First Baptist Church will serve as pallbearers.
