Bessie Lou Frazier Allen

Bessie Lou Frazier Allen , 66, of Beards Fork, WV died on Sunday, May 08, 2011 at UVA Medical Center in Charlottesville, VA. Born October 10, 1944 at Kincaid, WV she was the daughter of Lavada Robinson Frazier Reising of Elyria, OH and the late Clarence W. Frazier. Mrs. Allen was Postmaster for US Postal Service at Alloy for 25 years. Two brothers, Gene Reising and Charles "Joe" Frazier and paternal grandmother, Bessie Frazier all preceded her in death. In addition to her mother Bessie is survived by her husband, Joe Allen, her only son, Mark Allen and wife, Stephanie of Beards Fork and grandchildren, Mark Allen, II of Beards Fork, Kennedy Allen of Beards Fork, Brooke Patterson and husband, Josh and great granddaughter, Joslyn of Ripley and Cameron Lucas and husband, Chad and great grandson, Hunter of Masseyville. She is also survived by four brothers, Clarence W. Frazier, Henry D. Frazier and Marvin L. Frazier all of Elyria, OH and Arnold M. Frazier of Tennessee. Funeral services will be on Friday, May 13, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Pastor David Payne officiating. Burial will be at Kincaid Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home , Oak Hill on Thursday, May 12, 2011 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
