Beryl Henderson Lucas

Beryl Henderson Lucas, 84, of Highland, MI passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 24, 2005 in Livonia, MI. Born March 17, 1921 in England she was the daughter of the late Hugh M. and Dorothy Rogers Henderson. She was a "war bride" having met and married Sidney while he was stationed in England during World War II and was a homemaker. Beryl is survived by her beloved husband, Sidney C. Lucas formerly of Oak Hill, WV; one son, John (Christine) Lucas and two daughters, Karen (Richard) Paul and Kimberly (Matthew) Pisko. She was the dear grandmother of John E. Lucas, Erin and Christopher Paul and Mackenzie Pisko. Also surviving are two sisters-in-law, Mary Jane (James) King of Oak Hill, WV and Gloria (C.V.) Meeks of Miami, FL. A private service will be held out of the country. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Michigan Humane Society.
