Bernard Paul Gibson. Jr. , 63, of Fayetteville, WV died on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA.
Born April 15, 1952 in Fayette County, WV he was the son of the late Bernard Paul Gibson, Sr. and Alta Faye Woods Gibson and stepson of Myra Shaver Gibson of Oak Hill, WV.
He was a coal miner and a US Army Ranger during Vietnam.
He is survived by a loving family which includes his wife, Doris G. Gardner Gibson; two daughters, Jessica Gibson Markstorm of Louisana and Jeinay LeBlanc of Texas; brothers, Leon Gibson of Fayetteville and Mark Gibson of Oak Hill and two sisters, Dianna Cottle of Fayetteville and Pamela Gibson of Richmond, VA; and four grandchildren.
Mr. Gibson has been cremated. A memorial service will be held on at 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at his home - 3247 Gatewood Road, Fayetteville, WV.
