Bennie F. Collins

Bennie Franklin Collins, 78, of Cleveland, OH died on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at Southwest General Hospital in Cleveland, OH. Born May 20, 1929 at Artie, WV he was the son of the late Charles Adam "Charley" and America Ellen Burgess Collins. He was a retired punch operator. Bennie was the last surviving member of his immediate family having been preceded by three brothers, Jesse Collins, James Collins and Donnie Collins and four sisters, Eula Harmon, Dora Lilly, Minnie Bailey and Cecelia "Peachy" Stover.. Survivors include one daughter, Vickie Sue Collins Madoneczky and husband, Jeff of Cleveland, OH , two grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be on Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope with Rev. Loretta Taylor officiating. Burial will be at Workman's Creek Cemetery, Workman's Creek WV. Friends may call one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home.
