Barbara Ann Worrell

Barbara Ann Curtis Worrell, 69, of Red Star, WV died on Friday, December 05, 2008 at her home. Born January 5, 1939 at Hopewell, VA, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Mazie King Curtis. She was a homemaker and a member of the Dothan Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Lisa Dalton and Virginia Gail Worrell. Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Darrell G. Worrell; eight children, Ricky Blankenship and wife, Bertha of Pax, Lori Hornsby and husband, Tim of Ghent, Barri Blankenship of Oak Hill, Sherri Tarazon and husband, Jesse of Oregon, Bill Worrell and wife, Michelle of Red Star, Mazie Bailey and husband, Scott of Clear Creek, Nina Worrell of Red Star, Lacy Feild of Red Star; one brotther Floyd Curtis, Jr. of Georgia; one sister, Patty Muse of Virginia; 23 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2:00 PM Monday at the Dothan Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. L. T. Jordan officiating. Burial will be at Ewing Creek Cemetery at Ewing Creek.
