Barbara Ann Frazier Wood

Barbara Ann Frazier Wood , 55, of Oak Hill, WV died on Thursday, May 02, 2013 at Appalachian Regional Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born May 28, 1957 at Bad Hersfeld, Germany she was the daughter of the late William Howard and Cristeen Schada Frazier and stepdaughter of June Badgett of White Plains, NC. She was a Nursing Assistant and a member of the Christian Church. A brother, William Frazier, Jr. preceded her in death. Survivors include her son, Jerry Wood, Jr. of Scarbro; her former husband, Jerry Wood, Sr. of Scarbro; three brothers, James Frazier of King, NC, Robert Frazier of Oak Hill and Tony Frazier of Lincolnton, NC; and two sisters, Mary Ann Watson of Mt. Airy, NC and Carmen Mercado-Shade of Puerto Rico. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Landyn Wood and Kayle Wood both of Scarbro. Funeral services will be on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 3:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Larry Humphrey officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs. Wood will be cremated following the service.
