Barbara Ann Asbury Williams

Barbara Ann Asbury Williams, age 69, of Robson, WV passed away at her home on Saturday, February 13, 2010 . Born July 30, 1940 at Oak Hill, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Thelma Coleman Asbury. Barbara was a retired cook having worked for the Fayette County Board of Education and was a active member of the Robson Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Gloria Dean Aquino, Agatha Bishop and Loretta Hampton; by three brothers, Julian ,Willis and Azel Asbury. Survivors include, her husband, Robert L. “Bob” Williams of Robson; three sons, Robert Lee “Robbie” Williams and his wife, Melissa “Missy” Williams of Crab Orchard, Brian Keith Williams and his wife, Kimberly Dawn of Robson, Brad Everett Williams and his wife, Jenny of Page; her daughter, Beverly Williams Johnston and her husband, Robert Wayne of Page; ten grandchildren , Stacie Angel and husband Nicholas of Oak Hill, Robert Wayne “Jake” Johnston and his wife, Alicia of Kincaid, Destini Williams of Parkersburg, Chasity Ann Hicks and her husband, James of Oak Hill, Maranda Dawn Williams and Sydney Nicole Williams, both of Robson, Braydon Parker Williams, Ashley Shay Adkins, Hunter Lee Adkins and Brent Carter Adkins, all of Page and seven great grandchildren, Austin Luke, Andrew Isaac and Eli Seth Angelall of Oak Hill, Traelynd James Hicks of Oak Hill, Jacob Wayne, Olivia Dawn and Xoe Marie Johnston all of Kincaid. Three brothers, Wilbur Junior Asbury of Oak Hill, James Edward Asbury of Page of Larry Allen Asbury of Carlsbad, NM also survive. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Robson Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Orville Syner, Kenneth Gail Raynes and Rev. Delmas Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Friends may call at the Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Monday, February 15, 2010 from 6-9 p.m. and at the church one hour prior to services on Tuesday. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
