Audrey Mae Snead Blake, 89, of Oak Hill, WV died on Monday, December 27, 2004 at Hidden Valley Healthcare Center in Oak Hill, WV following a long illness. Born September 01, 1915 at Vinton, VA she was the daughter of the late Frank C. and Ethel Lee Snead Weeks. Mrs. Blake was a member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church, Oak Hill, WV and the Shirley Donnally Bible Class. She was retired from Ballard's Dress Shop, Oak Hill. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Hidden Valley Healthcare Center for their tender loving care of our dear mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence "Pete" Blake; brother, Paul Weeks; sisters, Mabel Ellison and Claudine Ellison.. Survivors include two sons, Clarence Shirley Blake and wife, Sharon, of Oak Hill and Charles Eugene Blake and wife, Sally, of Bath, Maine; one sister, Betty Eldine Price and her husband, Jim, of Clover, SC; daughter-in-law, Janice Knepp and husband, Tom; three grandchildren, Kimberly Ann Diamond and husband, Larry, Christopher Blake and wife, Danielle, and Jessica Jill Blake; three great grandchildren, Jonathan Eric Diamond, Michael Kimberly Diamond and Breya Jamicin Blake. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home on Thursday, December 30, 2004, from 10:00 to 11:00 am. Services will be on Thursday, December 30, 2004 at 11:00 am at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. William Skeldon officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV. Pallbearers will be Steve Hall, Jason Crouch, Gary Crouch, Larry Diamond, Jonathan Diamond and Brandon Richardson
