Arthur Franklin Thomas

Arthur Franklin Thomas , 72, of Rt 2 Fayetteville, WV died on Sunday, May 27, 2012 at his home. Born December 24, 1939 at Charleston, WV he was the son of the late Arthur T. and Thelma Almond Young Thomas. Arthur was a retired machinist for NARCO. He was a US Navy veteran. His wife, Merle Eloise Hess Thomas preceded him in death on Dec. 7, 2007. Survivors include two stepsons, Jimmy Williams of Baltimore, MD and Leverette Williams of Baltimore, MD, one step-daughter, Jackie Kearney of Baltimore, MD and a brother, Robert Thomas of Belle. Also surviving are four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 7:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Delmas Wolfe officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park., Oak Hill at 10:30 A.M on Thursday, May 31, 2012.
