Arthur A. "Jack" Kelley

Arthur A. "Jack" Kelley , 85, of Page, WV died on Friday, August 06, 2010 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born January 07, 1925 at , OH he was the son of the late Rolley and Florence Anderson Kelley. He was a retired coal miner having worked at Beards Fork. Jack was a member of the American Legion Post #149 of Fayetteville, the U.M.W.A. and Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #1664 of Oak Hill. He was recipient of the Moose Pilgrim Degree. He served in the US Navy during World War II. Daughters, Mary May, Martha Combs and infants Carolyn Ann and Carolyn Sue , a brother, Frank Kelley and sister, Garnett Kelley preceded him in death. Survivors include three sons, Billy Kelley of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Charles Kelley of Portsmouthh, VA and Roger Kelley of Page; one daughter, Regina Stricklin of Richmond, VA and a brother, Rolley Kelley of Morrow, OH. Also surviving are ten grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Services will be on Monday, August 9, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill in Oak Hill. with Rev. Joe Cuthbertson officiating. Entombment will be at High Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Oak Hill with graveside rites by the Loyal Order of the Moose and military graveside rites by Oak Hill VFW Post #3110.
