Arlie S. Bragg, Jr.

Arlie Shephard Bragg, Jr. 74, of Beech Grove, IN passed away Sunday, August 28, 2005 in the University Heights Health and Living Community. He was born March 9, 1931 at Thurmond, WV son of the late Arlie Shephard Bragg, Sr. and Margaret (Muir) Bragg. Arlie was a proud veteran of the US Air Force. He was a railroader in Thurmond, WV and Cleveland, OH. In Beech Grove, IN he was a member of the American Legion #0777 and the VFW Post #2999. Arlie is survived by his son, George Bragg of Beaver, WV; a daughter, Debra Rose of Hopewell, VA; sister, Patricia Manuel of Indianapolis, IN; brothers, Harold Bragg of Glen Jean, WV and Bill Bragg of Cleveland, OH; five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and his longtime companion, Barbara Kehoe of Beech Grove, IN. Two sisters, Carol Covington and Mary Sears and a brother, David Bragg preceded him in death. Visitation will be 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday, August 31, 2005 at Little and Sons Funeral Home, Beech Grove Chapel, 1301 Main Street, Beech Grove, IN 46107 where Rev. Gary W. Pitcock will officiate the funeral service at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN.
