Arietta Perry Harris

Arietta Perry Harris, 95, of Charleston, formerly of Mount Hope died Thursday, November 25, 2004 at Heartland of Charleston after several weeks of declining health. She was born May 7, 1909 at Dickinson, WV, a daughter of the late Warren and Martha Proctor Turner. Arietta was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mount Hope Christian Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Roy L. Perry and Charlie Harris; two sons, Edward L. "Bill" Perry and Charles Warren Perry; and one granddaughter, Andrea Perry Myers. Survivors include two daughters, Betty H. (John) Campbell of Charleston, WV, Judy (Ron) Osborne of Harpersfield, Ohio; one son, Robert Darrell (Linda) Perry of Norlina, NC; one sister, Loria Myers of Lebanon, VA; 13 grandhildren and 18 great grandchildren; daughters-in-law, Dorothy "Dot" Perry of Norlina, NC and Nina Perry of Charleston, WV. Service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, November 27, at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Hope with Minister Ferdinand Gavina officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday.
