Archie Lambert

Archie Augusta Lambert Jr., 52, of Scarbro, WV died on Monday, November 24, 2003 at his home following a short illness. Born October 15, 1951 at Eccles, WV he was the son of the late Archie Augusta Lambert, Sr. and Minnie Sue Altizer Lambert. Mr. Lambert was a coal miner and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He served in the Army during Vietnam Era. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Nancy Harrah, Susie Lambert and Evia Williams. Survivors include wife, Barbara Bragg Lambert Sons: Archie Augusta Lambert, III of West Virginia Anthony Wayne Bragg of Scarbro Daughter: Sara Lou Bragg of Scarbro Brothers: Robert Dale Lambert of Scarbro William Altizer of Hamilton, OH Sisters: Mona Hall of Greensboro, NC Peggy Lambert of Mount Hope Faye Meadows of Rich Creek, VA Half sisters: Anna Marie Warrick of Beckley Linda Altizer of OH several nieces and nephews including, Allen Robinson of Oak Hill and Andrew Lambert of Scarbro Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope on Friday, November 28, 2003, from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. Services will be on Friday, November 28, 2003 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope with Rev. Bobby Adkins officiating. Burial will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill WV with military graveside rites conducted by VFW Post 3110, Oak Hill, WV. Nephews and friends will serve as pallbearers.
