Anna Szuch

Anna Lee Wilson Szuch, 87, of Mount Hope, WV died on Tuesday, January 27, 2004 at Greystone Inn in Beaver, WV following an extended illness. Born November 28, 1916 at Prudence, WV she was the daughter of the late Walker L. and Ethel Darlington Wilson. She was retired from the Fayette County Board of Education as Head Cook for Mount Hope Elementary School with 24 years service. Mrs. Szuch was a member of the Mount Hope Baptist Temple and the Fayette County Retired Service Personnel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luis F. Szuch and a grandson, David Warden. Survivors include sons, Louis E. Szuch, Sr. of Columbia, SC and Bill Szuch of Salem, VA Daughters, Charlotte Peraldo of Maple Fork; Patricia Merz of Columbus, OH and Drema George of Charlotte, NC. 8 Grandchildren: Dannie Warden, Carleen Calcaterra, Lewis Merz, Caroline George, Michelle Franks, Louis Szuch, Jr., Carissa Szuch and Jeremy Szuch. Eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope on Saturday, January 31, 2004, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Services will be on Saturday, January 31, 2004 at 3:00 pm at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope with Rev. David McCoy officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley WV. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
