Anna Mae Scarbro

Anna Mae Scarbro, 75, of Scarbro, WV died Friday, March 23, 2007 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV after a long illness. Born September 15, 1931, at Scarbro, WV she was the daughter of the late Frank, Sr. and Gladys Wells Miller. Anna Mae loved to work in her flower beds and sew quilts for family members. She loved going to church at the Crossroads Apostolic Holiness Church at Bradley where she was a member. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Huey H. Scarbro on September 9, 1991; one granddaughter, Amy Calvert; two sisters, Juanita Howery and Elizabeth Miller; and four brothers, Bob, Carl, Morris, and Russell Miller. Survivors include four daughters, Ruda Tolbert and her husband, Steven of Scarbro, WV; Louella Ross of Oak Hill,WV, Sharon Hambrick of Lewisburg, WV and Teresa Scarbro of New Orleans, LA; and one son, Roger Scarbro and wife, Anita of Minden, WV; one brother, Frank Miller, Jr. of Page, WV; two sisters, Maxine Waggner of Gainesville, FL and Marie Ellis of Fresno, CA; eleven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren; and a host of nephews and nieces including a special niece, Eva Coleman of Tazewell, VA. Funeral will be at 11:00 A. M. Wednesday, March 28, 2007, at the Crossroads Apostolic Holiness Church, Bradley, WV with Rev. Jimmy Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill, WV. Friends may call Tuesday, March 27, 2007 from 6 until 8 PM at the church.
