Anna M. Huddleston Richardson, 90, of Oak Hill, died April 4, 2011, at Hidden Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Born March 27, 1921, in Oak Hill, she was the daughter of the late Desmond R. and Ollie C. McNeer Huddleston. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Richardson; and brothers, Howard, Frank, Fred, and Fleming Huddleston. She was a former telephone operator and retired from the C&P Telephone Company with over 30 years’ service. She was a long-time member of the Jones Avenue First Church of God and the Women of the Church of God. Surviving: her sons, Michael W. Richardson of Cool Ridge and James F. (Linda) Richardson of Oak Hill, grandchildren, Michelle (Keith) Heckman, Michael (Lisa) Richardson, Steven (Janet) Richardson, Stuart Richardson, JF (Christy) Richardson, and Marc (Tiffany) Richardson, eight great-grandchildren; six stepgreat-grandchildren, and several special nieces and nephews who called her “Granny.” In keeping with her wishes, her body was donated to the human gift registry program at the WV School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg. Graveside rites and committal service will be held 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill.
