Anna Patricia (Bunting) Payne

Anna Patricia (Patty) Payne, 81, of Beckley, left this world to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at Bowers Hospice of Beckley with family at her bedside, from a short illness.

Anna was born in Powellton, WV, April 8, 1943, to the late Charles M. and Helen A. Bunting. She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy L. Payne; great granddaughter, Haley Jones; sister, Norma; brothers, Terry and CW Bunting.

Anna is survived by sons, Billy Payne and Sandra, of Beckley and Madison (Matt) Payne of Kincaid; sister, Tena and James Dent of Page; and brothers, Milton Bunting of Ohio and Michael Bunting of Beckley; along with granddaughters and nieces and nephews.

Anna was a member of the Page Baptist Church and enjoyed painting, several arts and crafts, and bingo. She always enjoyed the holidays, and her favorites were Halloween and Christmas, and she decorated her home with lights and lots of love.

She was a retired nursing home care giver and homemaker.

Most of her life was spent in Page, WV after her husband, of 61 years died she moved to Beckley where she lived for two and half years.

Graveside service and internment will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, 2150 Pea Ridge Road, Oak Hill WV, 25901 with Pastor Delmas Wolfe officiating.
