Anna Mae Fugate

Anna Mae Fugate, 85, of Kincaid, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 in a Charleston hospital. 

Born June 6, 1939, at Clay County, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Gladys (Nichols) Stewart. 

Anna was a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting, getting out of the house, and loved watching her birds especially hummingbirds. 

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Denver Fugate, Sr. 

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Pamela Brownwell and her husband, David; two sons, Michael Fugate and his wife, Karen and JR Fugate; four grandchildren, Crystal Brownwell, Denver Fugate, Anna Fugate, and Katie Fugate; one great grandchildren, Tristan Bowling; three sisters, Alberta Daniels, Daphine Halcomb, and Betty Matek; and one brother, Doug Stewart. 

In keeping with her wishes, she will be cremated.
