Anna Lea Amick Barton, 80, of Oak Hill, WV died on Friday, November 07, 2008 at St. Francis Hospital in Charleston, WV.
Born October 18, 1928 at Lookout, WV she was the daughter of the late Albert Luther and Freda Virginia Tomlin Amick.
Mrs. Barton was a member of the Jones Avenue First Church of God in Oak Hill and the Pythian Sisters at Ansted.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Lee Barton; granddaughter, Stacey Leanne Angius; sister, Marcie A. Bowyer and two brothers, Ray Amick and William Amick.
Survivors include a daughter, Melinda Angius of Oak Hill; one son, Garry Barton of Oak Hill; sister, Drema "Cookie" Barton of Mesa, AZ and brother, Alvin "Bob" Amick of Greentown.
Also surviving are her grandson, Derek Angius and a great grandson, Jace Lee Angius both of Sand Branch.
Services will be on Monday, November 10, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at Jones Avenue First Church of God with Rev. Ralph Shupe and Rev. Pat Franklin officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV.
Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home on Sunday, November 9, 2008 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
