Ann Frances Meredith Thomas

Ann Frances Meredith Thomas , 79, of Mount Hope, WV died on Friday, January 10, 2014 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born January 19, 1934 at Grayson County, KY she was the daughter of the late Russell and Rachel Williams Meredith. She was a retired Cosmetic Clerk for Stone & Thomas Department Store in Beckley. Her husband, Ralph Thomas, two sons, Mosley Thomas and Christopher Thomas; brothers, Clarence Meredith and Larry Meredith and a sister, Rosemary Painter preceded her in death. Survivors include her children, Mark Vincent Thomas of Pax, Thomas Brett Thomas of Stephens City, VA, Nancy Marie Carlson and husband, Christopher of Knoxville, MD, and Paula Denise Mullins and husband, Tony of Sweeneysburg; three brothers, William Meredith of Pax, Chest Meredith of Greenville, NC and Joe Meredith of Pax; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren and granddog Patch. Mrs. Thomas is to be cremated. A memorial service will be on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Mount Hope with Assistant Pastor Tony Mullins and Pastor Jim Bowyer officiating.
