Our precious Angela Elizabeth Justice Painter, 49 of Pax, WV took her last breath on this earth and stepped over into Heaven January 7, 2019, Her 17-month battle with cancer, ended at home, with her husband, son and his girlfriend by her side.
She was the daughter of Jackie and Vicky Justice of Crab Orchard, wife of Daniel Wayne Painter and Moma of Tyler Wayne Painter, both of Pax.
Family was everything to Angie and for the past 10+ years she served with her Church family, as Teacher of the Awana Sparks age group of children at Mabscott Christian Baptist Church. She loved teaching; leading children to and seeing them grow in Christ.
Her family filled her heart and life with togetherness, laughter, travel, sports, cheerleading, good times, heartbreak and mostly genuine love. She loved flamingos, even before they were cool, the beach and snow. Her favorite time of year was Christmas.
She is preceded in death by her father, Jackie Justice and father and mother-in-law, Claude and RoseMary Painter.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel Wayne Painter, son, Tyler Wayne (Erica) Painter; mother, Vicky Justice; brothers Dude (Cindy) Justice, Timmy Justice, Bo Justice; sisters-in-law Sheila (Glenn) Johnson and Becky (Doug) Holley; nephews and nieces, Joshua (Amy) Johnson, Jeremiah Johnson, Autumn (Josh) Sturgill, Kris (Ashley) Holley, Jake Justice, Seth Justice, Cassidy (Tyler) D’Angelo, Brianna (James) Clay, Dustin Justice, Whitney Justice, Brittney Justice, Carly Jo (Sugarbaby) Justice, and Abigail Justice; and great nephews and nieces, Matthew Johnson, Noah Johnson, Caylee Justice, Lacy Toney, Colt Justice, Lincoln Holley and Finley Rose Sturgill.
Our precious Angie made a promise to God, that whatever it took, even her own life, she was willing to give to see her family saved and going to Heaven. She never wavered during her illness and constantly confirmed that God was in control and it would be ok, no matter the outcome. With the help of UVA Cancer Center, she was able to see some of her family saved and has planted the seed of salvation to all. We will miss our sweet Angie, her love, her friendship, her support. Our hearts are broken and empty but we will be with you again. We love you.
