Andrew Justin Zickafoose

Andrew Justin Zickafoose, age 22, of Oak Hill, WV passed away on Friday, August 20, 2010 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. Born March 23, 1988 in Beckley, he was the son of Douglas Rand and Carol Harr Zickafoose of Oak Hill. Andrew was a 2006 graduate of Oak Hill High School and a 2009 graduate of University of Northwestern Ohio. He was currently employed by Walker Machinery in Summersville as a diesel mechanic. In addition to his parents Douglas and Carol Zickafoose survivors include, his twin brother, Matthew Zickafoose of Oak Hill, and his sister, Jennifer Zickafoose of Smithers; paternal grandparents, Jack and Tot Higgins of Mannington, WV, and his maternal grandmother, Loretta Harr of Latrobe, PA. Also surviving are his uncles and aunts; Morton Harr of Latrobe, PA, Michael and Betty Zickafoose of Bristol, TN, David and Beatrice Zickafoose of Rosemond, CA, Jim and Roy Sisk of Danese, Tim and Nancy Zickafoose of Fairmont, WV, and Greg Zickafoose of Beckley and 10 cousins. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at the Oak Hill United Methodist Church, 250 Main Street, Oak Hill, WV with Rev. Ellen L. File officiating. Burial will follow at the Shuck-Zickafoose Cemetery at Danese, WV. Friends may call at the Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, from 6-9 p.m. On Tuesday, August 24, 2010 and at the church one hour prior to services on Wednesday. Chris Chapman, Jared Souder, Chris Wood, Dennis Kerwood Chad Sisk and his twin brother, Matthew Zickafoose will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, donations in Andrew's memory may be made to the Oak Hill High/Collins High School Alumni Scholarship Fund, PO Box 462, Oak Hill, WV 25901.
