Our wonderful son, brother, uncle and friend, Andrew Byron Logan, 43, of Oak Hill, WV died on Sunday, May 06, 2007 at his home. Born December 27, 1963 at Oak Hill, WV he was the son of Rosebud Foster Logan of Oak Hill, WV and the late Rev. Andrew J. "Jack" Logan, Jr. He was a Certified Physician's Assistant having last worked for Five Oaks Family Clinic. Mr. Logan was a member of the Cotton Hill Baptist, Cotton Hill, WV where he was baptized by his father, Rev. Jack Logan. He was a 1982 graduate of Oak Hill High School and also graduated from the College of West Virginia in Beckley, WV. Byron was caring, loving, compassionate and hard working - always willing to do anything that anyone needed. He always had an answer for everything. If he didn't know it right then he would get you the answer as soon as he could. More than knowing the answers was his ability to listen. He never met a stranger and always listened to your concerns. An accomplished magician, Byron loved performing for school children. As a student of Beverly Bazzie, he became an excellent pianist. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Thomas H. Foster and Addie Sowder Foster and his paternal grandparents, A.J. Logan, Sr. and Maud Hill Logan. Additional survivors include a brother, Robert Alan Logan and wife, Bonny of Orlando, FL; his sister, Carolyn Rose Benda and husband, Bruce of Oak Hill, WV; five nieces and nephews, Sarah Elaine Benda, Jeremy Bruce Benda, Robert Alan Logan, II, Andrew David Logan and Amber Nicole Logan as well as many cousins, aunts and uncles. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Wednesday, May 9, 2007, from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM. Services will be on Thursday, May 10, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Mack Canterbury, Rev. David Sneed and Rev. Pete Lokant officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV. Jeremy Benda, Bruce Benda, Brian Law, Randy Lively, Bobby Love and Harry Bowles will serve as pallbearers.
