Aline Faye Sizemore Shrewsberry

Aline Faye Sizemore Shrewsberry , 90, of Fayetteville, WV passed away on Monday, March 18, 2013 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV. Born March 02, 1923 at Corinne, WV she was the daughter of the late Charles H. and Rosie Gay Blankenship Sizemore. Mrs. Shrewsberry was a member of the New River Baptist Church, Fayetteville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Estel Shrewsberry, four sons, William Talbert, Timothy, Edward and Drewie Paul, sons-in-law, J.B. Repass and Bill Sizemore and daughter-in-law and caregiver, Mary Shrewsberry. Those left to cherish her memory include daughter, Phyllis Repass of Scarbro, daughter, Faye Sizemore of Princeton, son, Leon Shrewsberry and wife, Rita of Fayetteville, son, Byron Shrewsberry and wife, Linda of Lebanon, TN, son, Jerry "Jake" Shrewsberry of Scarbro, daughter, Evie Perkins and husband, James of Fayetteville, daughter, Sylvia Davidson of Wytheville, VA, daughter, Donna Milam and husband, John of Scarbro, daughter, Cynthia England of Oak Hill and son, Terry Shrewsberry and wife, Julia of Inwood. Also surviving are her 54 grandchildren, 98 great grandchildren, 24 great great grandchildren, and sisters, Willie Mae Haynes of Princeton, Georgia Shrewsberry of Sand Gap and Rosie Sizemore of Pineville. Ailene was the matriarch of a large, loving family and was truly an angel here on earth. She always saw the best in everyone and held her family and friends close to her heart. Aline enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, canning, reading the Bible, and working puzzle books. Aline enjoyed most serving the Lord and spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with James Perkins and Pastor George Secrist officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Thursday, March 21, 2013 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
