Alice Rhodes Stover

Alice Lou Rhodes Stover, 81, of High Point, NC formerly of Mount Hope, WV went to be with her heavenly father on Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at High Point Regional Hospital in High Point. Born August 27, 1927 at Packs Branch, WV she was the daughter of the late Noel Addison and Melva Williams Rhodes. Mrs. Stover was a faithful member of the Packs Branch Baptist Church. She attended Pax Elementary School and was a graduate of Mount Hope High School. A homemaker, wife and mother, Alice loved to quilt. Her husband, Ira Willis Stover, two sisters and two brothers preceded her in death. Survivors include her sons, Willis Stover and wife, Laurie of High Point, NC and Ronald Rhodes of Ohio; sister, Lois White and sister-in-law, Ruth Rhodes. Also surviving are three grandsons, Michael and Cody Stover and Ron Rhodes, Jr. and two great grandchildren as well as many other relatives. Services will be on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, in Mount Hope. with Rev. Harmon Davis officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity WV.
