Alice V. Matheney Nugen

Alice Virginia Matheney Nugen , 76, of Hilltop, WV died on Wednesday, August 01, 2012 at Hilltop Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Hilltop, WV following a long illness. Born September 25, 1935 at Thayer, WV, she was the daughter of the late Ruffner and Bertie Boyd Matheney. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gene Nugen, and a son, Marvin Dale Nugen. Survivors include a son, Allen Gene Nugen of Mabscott; two daughters, Debra Lee Burrell of Winston-Salem, NC and Drema Stoltzfus of Hilltop, and two sisters, Lucille Adams of Beckley and Christine Fortuner of Pearisburg, VA, and three grandchildren. Services will be at 2 P. M. Saturday, August 4, 2012, at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Pastor Delmas Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill.
