Alfreida Fern Withrow Flint, 87, of Oak Hill, WV died on Tuesday, January 02, 2018 at Hidden Valley Nursing and Rehab Center in Oak Hill, WV.
Born October 14, 1930 at Gatewood, WV she was the daughter of the late Tennis Judson and Ruby Canaday Withrow and step-daughter of the late Doris Howell Withrow.
Freida was a homemaker and former employee in the dietary departments at Hidden Valley and Plateau Medical Center. She attended the Fellowship Memorial Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Charles Flint, Jr.; brother, Donald L. Withrow; half-sisters, Wilda Pauletta and Mary Rombow; step-sisters, Evelyn Fagg and Doris Haddock; step-brothers, Roy, James and John Flint; and great-grandson, Brennon James Burns.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Lee Flint and wife, Mary Lynn and Roger Dale Flint and wife, Mary Ann; granddaughters, Leigh M. Lefler and husband, Christopher, Amy D Burns and husband, Jason; grandsons, Dr. Christopher B. Flint and fiancee, Alyssa Harler and Alex D'Angelo; three great-grandchildren, Carson and Addison Burns and Katelynn Lefler; half-sister, Wanda (Marsh) Smallwood; and two step-sisters Bonnie (Bobby) Pritt and Loreda Mitchell.
Freida's family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Hidden Valley for the wonderful care she received.
Services will be on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Pastor Pete Lokant officiating. Entombment will be at High Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
