Agnes Inez Burgess Ransom , 88, of Oak Hill, WV died on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV.
Born October 27, 1927 at Minden, WV she was the daughter of the late Fred Herman and Dottie Ann Pittsenbarger Burgess.
She was a retired nursing assistant having worked for Oak Hill Hospital and Plateau Medical Center.
Agnes was a member of the Mountain View Church of God, Hilltop.
She was preceded in death by daughter, Alisha Ann Ransom; brothers, Darrell Lee Burgess and Raymond Burgess and sister, Dorothy Mae Baber.
Survivors include husband, Cledis Ambers Ransom; daughter, Dottie Ransom Morrison Stover and husband, Stanley of Oak Hill; grandchildren, Christopher Morrison and wife, Stephanie and Katie Morrison; and great grandson, Hunter Morrison.
Funeral services will be on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Rudell Bloomfield officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Sunday at the funeral home.
