Lana Kay Pittman

Lana Kay Pittman, (age 71) of Pax, WV went to be with our Lord and Savior the morning of September 19, 2022, following a long illness. Lana was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a doting grandmother, & a loyal sister. She adored all of her nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Lana enjoyed gardening, reading her Bible, cooking for an army, rocking on her front porch & surrounding herself with the ones she loved.

She is preceded in death by her Mother & Father, Jewell Hall-Coy & Elza Hall, along with many other loved ones she longed to be reunited with one day. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Charles “Rocky” Pittman, her children, Amos Brown (Lew Ann), Allen Brown, Amy Lilley (Shawn), April Brown, Charlie Pittman (Sandra) & Robert “Bobby” Pittman, her siblings Irene Butcher (Kenneth) Janice Veramessa (Nino) Freida Draudt (Dick) Carl Cheek (Trish) Rocky Hall (Debbie) Brenda Mullins (Jerry) along with 12 beautiful grandchildren & 7 great grandchildren & numerous family members & friends. Lana is deeply loved by many and will be truly missed by them all, until we meet again.

Services will be held Thursday September 22, 2022 at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope at 2:00 PM. A visitation for friends will be held one hour prior to services. Pastor Jerry Tyree to officiate the services and burial to follow at Pax Community Cemetery.
